Westwood is updating its Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP)! We would like your input in this survey to make sure we have the best possible understanding of how you and your fellow citizens feel about open space and recreation facilities in Westwood.

Westwood Open Space and Recreation Surveyhttps://www.surveymonkey.com/r/C66PHPM
Available from November 13, 2017 through December 1, 2017.

Completing an OSRP that gains approval from the Massachusetts Division of Conservation Services (DCS) serves two primary purposes: (1) It provides a document to guide future Town decisions pertaining to open space and recreation and (2) It makes the Town eligible for grants that can be used to purchase open space and develop recreation facilities.

Public participation is a key aspect of writing the plan, so your input is very important. The following survey will help us develop a better understanding of what residents love about Westwood's open spaces and recreation areas, what could be better, and what elements are missing.

This survey can be filled out online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/C66PHPM.

Paper copies of the survey are also available at the Town Hall, Main Library, Islington Branch Library, Senior Center, and Recreation Department.

Also, please mark your calendars for an Open Space & Recreation Visioning Session to be held on January 18, 2018 beginning at 7:00 pm.  Location to be determined.
